【含義】
英英釋義:When you eat fewer calories than you burn you creat a calorie deficit, also called an energy deficit. 當你攝入的能量小於消耗的能量時你就製造了一個熱量缺口,英文也可以叫做 energy deficit.

為什麼要製造熱量缺口?
Many people consumemore calories than they need to maintain their weight each day. When you consistently eat more calories than your body needs, the extra calories are stored as fat.
很多人每天消耗的熱量大於身體所需的熱量來保持體重。但是當你持續每天攝入的熱量大於消耗的熱量的話,這些多餘的熱量就會以脂肪的形式儲存在體內。

For most people, a calorie deficit of 500 calories per day is sufficientfor weight loss and unlikely to significantly affect your hunger or energy levels.
對大多數人來說,每天製造500卡的熱量缺口對於減重來說就足夠了,這樣的熱量缺口也不至於非常大的影響你的飢餓感和能量水平。

Long story short, it's likely more sustainable to creat a calorie deficit through diet rather than exercise alone. However, physical activity is important for many aspects of health.
長話短說,要製造熱量缺口通過控制飲食比單單依靠運動更持久一些。(試想500卡的缺口得做多少運動?少吃倆漢堡就出來了)但是呢,運動對健康是很有重要的(所以大家不管是不是為了減肥,增加運動還是好的)
