上一篇我們說的是「OOO」是「out of office」表示不在辦公室裡，當然有時候也表達「out of order」，意思是出故障或行為不當。比如說：
The printer is out of order.（not working）
印表機出故障了。
下面我們我們就來說說那些與out有關的表達。
1、out of question和out of the question
兩者之間相差一個「the」，那區別是什麼呢？到底哪一個是用來表示「沒問題」？
（1）out of question
這個相當於「out of doubt , depend upon it」也就是「means there is no doubt or unquestionably」。
所以本意表示「毫無疑問，沒問題的」。
例句：
He is an honest man and his honesty is out of question.
他是一個誠實的人，他的誠實是毫無疑問的。
(2)out of the question
這是指已經逃離問題根本了，就像我們上學寫作文離題一樣，即使寫得再好也沒用。意思是「Impossible or not allowed and therefore not worth discussing」，不可能，不允許或不值得討論的，或「不可能；不知底細；根本談不上」
例句：
I was hoping we could eat here tonight, but it looks like that's out of the question.
我希望今晚我們能在這裡吃，但看起來是不可能了。
2、He is outside和 He is out
首先我們要區分開outside和out之間的區別。
outside是一個比較具象的詞，一般指在建築物或空間附近的外面。
比如說He is outside的意思是他在辦公室外面，不在裡面，可能在外頭抽菸、聊天；
Out 比較抽象，而He is out.是他不在辦公室，不知道在哪，也有可能下班了。
說道這裡，下面這兩點大家還需要注意：
（1）我們常常在外面吃
不是：We always eat outside.
而是：We always eat out.
（2）我住外面。
不是：I live outside.
而是：I live by myself
3、out of the blue
看到這個，你會不會想到「青出於藍」，哈哈哈～恭喜你，答錯了～
out of the blue不是「青出於藍」，而是「突然的，意外的」。
例句：
These troubles did not come out of the blue.
這些麻煩並不是憑空而來的。
4、out of control
這個很好理解，就是「失控」的意思，相信大家都認識哈～就不再多說什麼了。
例句：
The man have got out of control.
這個男人無法控制自己。
