一、交通信號燈：Traffic Signal Lights
交通信號燈由紅燈、綠燈、黃燈組成。紅燈表示禁止通行，綠燈表示準許通行，黃燈表示警示。
黃燈信號警示車輛、行人通行時要注意瞭望，放慢速度，因為馬上要亮紅燈了，所以要確認安全後才能通過。
當紅燈結束時，轉綠燈。
當綠燈閃爍時，提醒駕駛員信號燈即將變成黃燈。

三、根據交通，黃燈亮時，已越過停止線的車輛可以繼續通行，一旦紅燈亮時，就要立馬停下。
黃燈亮時，還沒過停止線的車輛，是不能繼續通行的。
黃燈亮時，已越過停車線的車輛可繼續通行，沒有越過停車線的車輛原地等待，如果司機不停下來，而快速駛過，交管部門就視為「闖黃燈」，這也屬於交通違法行為，可以進行處罰，扣6分，罰200元。
