今天我們精讀的是《中國日報》中Father of hybrid rice celebrates 90th birthday on lunar calendar,其實就是我們可愛又偉大的袁隆平爺爺啦。

以前對於這些大牛的了解僅僅在課本上,但是去年的一條新聞讓我自愧不如。2019年10月12日,在湖南長沙國家雜交水稻工程技術中心,袁隆平接受多家媒體採訪。採訪中,袁隆平用英語談非洲國家農業發展問題。
大牛學英語的初衷也特別簡單,就是因為退休沒意思,對抗老年痴呆。學語言的作用還可以對抗遺忘和大腦退化。果然大牛是各方面都牛。
說到這,想起了大學老師說過一句話,他說:「劉翔如果不練體育,做別的行業也肯定是佼佼者。」現在才理解了這句話的真諦,牛人無論幹什麼都不會太差。

CHANGSHA -- Yuan Longping, a globally renown agronomist known for developing the first hybrid rice strains, celebrates his 90th birthday today, in accordance with the traditional Chinese lunar calendar.
