Kiah and Rilla walked back to the taxi.
凱和瑞拉回到計程車那兒。
『Where’s driver?』 Kiah asked.
「司機哪去了？」凱問。
『Look! He’s sitting under that tree,』 Rilla said.
「那不是嘛！在那棵樹下坐著呢。」瑞拉說。
Just then, Commander Zadak came out of the gate.
正說著，扎達克司令出現在大門口。
He was a very tall, big man with blue eyes and a lot of white hiar.
他高大魁梧，藍眼睛，長著一頭濃密的白髮。
Two guards marched in front of him, and two guards marched behind him. They all carried guns.
四個衛兵兩前兩後闊步護衛著他。他們都帶著槍。
『There he is!』 Rilla cried. 『Commander!』 And she began to run along the road to him.
「他在那兒！」瑞拉喊了起來。「扎達克司令！」她隨即順著瑪麗朝他跑去。
Commander Zadak did not stop. A guard opened the door of the train and the Commander got in.
扎達克司令並沒有停下腳步。一個衛兵打開候車門，扎達克跨了進去。
Slowly, the train began to move.
火車緩緩地開動了。
Kiah ran to the taxi and jumped in. Then he drove the taxi fast down the road.
凱奔向那輛計程車，速度坐進車裡了。隨即他開著車飛快地順路而下。
The taxi driver saw him and ran after him. The train began to move faster.
計程車司機看見了他，在後面緊追不放。火車在加速。
Suddenly, Kiah drove the taxi off the road. He drove in front of the train and stopped.
突然，凱把計程車開下了馬路，直駛到火車前頭停了下來。
The train came nearer. And then the train stopped, very near the taxi, and some guards jumped off.
火車越來越近了。就在要撞到計程車的時候，它停了下來。幾個衛兵從車廂裡跳了下來。
Kiah opened the door and got out of the taxi.
開打開車門從計程車裡出來。
