六一兒童節馬上就要到了，可能很多人都不知道六一兒童節的來歷，所以，今天小編就給大家解說一下中英版本的六一兒童節的來歷。
The World Conference for the Well-being of Children in Geneva, Switzerland proclaimed June 1 to be International Children's Day in1925. It is not clear as to why June 1 was chosen as the International Children's Day: one theory has it that the Chinese consul-general in San Francisco (USA) gathered a number of Chinese orphans to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival in 1925, which happened to be on June 1 that year.
1925年的時候，瑞士日內瓦國際會議上將6月1日設為「國際兒童節」。為什麼是6月1日這個日子呢?事實上並沒有一個相對準確的答案。一種說法認為：由於1925年，位於美國舊金山的中國總領事將一群中國孤兒召集在一起慶祝端午節，而當天正好是6月1日。
The holiday is celebrated on 1 June each year. It is usually marked with speeches on children's rights and wellbeing, children TV programs, parties, various actions involving or dedicated to children, families going out, etc.
每年的6.1兒童節，會以發表關於兒童權利、福利的演說，播放兒童電視節目、舉辦各種派對、活動，舉家出遊等方式來進行慶祝。
國際兒童日
Universal Children's Day takes place on November 20 annually. First proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in 1954, it was established to encourage all countries to institute a day, firstly to promote mutual exchange and understanding among children and secondly to initiate action to benefit and promote the welfare of the world's children.
國際兒童日是每年的11月20日，1954年的聯合國大會上，這個節日的提出是為了推動所有國家都設立一個專門的日子來：首先，促進各國兒童之間的交流和溝通;其次，通過採取行動來提升各國兒童的福利。
