2017江蘇卷第35題考查you bet。對於這個考點我很不服氣，挑戰高考命題組長王成林教授。
我說，bet這個單詞不在江蘇卷考試說明3500詞之列，你們為什麼考呢？
他說，那一定是在牛津教材中出現過。
我說，從牛津教材誕生到現在我一直在教，從來沒有在教材中遇到過。
他說，我回去再查一查。
今兒個無意中把教育部制定的《普通高中英語課程標準（2017）》拿過來翻閱，竟然發現附錄2的3000詞彙表裡明明就有bet！
江蘇卷考試說明的詞彙表是以教育部頒發的《普通高中英語課程標準（實驗）》詞彙表為基準的。
明年江蘇卷考試說明詞彙表應該基於《普通高中英語課程標準（2017）》修訂了。

課程目標中說，通過本課程的學習，學生應能達到本學段英語課程標準所設定的四項學科核心素養的發展目標，即語言能力目標、文化意識目標、思維品質目標和學習能力目標。
素養2：文化意識三級水平——
能夠運用多種方式方法在真實生活情境中獲取文化信息；
基於對中外文化差異和融通的理解與思考，探究產生異同的歷史文化原因；
具有跨文化意識，能夠以尊重文化多樣性的方式調適交際策略；

What is depicted on the stamp is a traditional Chinese story.
The story goes like this. A Foolish Old Man (Yu Gong), who lived in a house facing a pair of mountains, was annoyed by the mountains blocking his way and sought to level them with just hand tools. When questioned as to the seemingly impossible nature of his task, the Foolish Old Man replied that while he was not able to accomplish the task in his lifetime, through the hard work of himself, his children, and his grandchildren, and through the many generations, someday the mountains would be removed if and only if they carried on. Impressed with his diligence and persistence, the gods in Heaven had the mountains moved elsewhere.
The moral of the story is that if you persevere in something and never give up, your efforts will pay off. And the spirit of the Old Man Yu Gong has been passing down.

中國故事，應該是考生耳熟能詳的故事。可以是遠古，可以是現代，也可以是今天。
如果提示過於充分，這不算是講故事。
如果只用寥寥30個詞概括，這不算是講故事。
如果偏重於故事內容的複述，這又不算是考英語。
莫非，今後的書面表達就是寫連環畫了？
