frustrated字典上的意思是「沮喪的」.
但「沮喪的」這個詞並不存在中文的口語裡，所以我們也很難會想到用frustrated。
其實翻譯成日常口語最接近的是「不爽的」。
frustrated是你想要做什麼事情，但是由於客觀條件做不了，達不到自己的期望，心裡那種無奈的感覺（something didn't happen as wish)，就是不爽。
比如合作方總是不配合，追一個妹子妹子遲遲不答應你，性生活得不到滿足，想要準時出貨，但是品質問題延期。工作中投訴別人常說 It's so frustrating that you 。
以sexually frustrated為例，就是是性生活達不到達不到預期，包括缺乏性生活，或者性生活質量不佳，得不得滿足，本質上都是一種想要有，但是由於各種原因卻沒有，沒有預期好的狀態。短期沒有性生活，就是a bit sexually frustrated，長期沒有，就是so sexually frustrated.

frustrated應該是外企老外使用最多的表達情感的詞，因為老外在中國，文化和我們不一樣，語言也不通，很多事情不能按照預期的想法去做，但很少說disappointed。
如果說disappointed就是事情比較嚴重了，因為disappointed就是事情無法挽回的那種，而frustrated還是有一絲希望讓他得到滿足。
你每次想說disappointed和angry的時，替換成frustrated會少得罪很多人。
比如angry customer和frustrated customer，前者是發飆的那種，後者則只是告訴你他的要求沒滿足，他不高興。
記住這個詞和「絕望」沒有關係，也不是有些人說的「抓狂」，這兩個詞都是很強烈的情感，而frustrated 可輕可重，表示不同程度的有a bit frustrated和so frustrated.
如果別人在發飆，你可以說I understand your frustration，或者 I feel your frustration，不要明說anger，留點面子。
