在國際交往日益頻繁的今天,英語已成為一種不可或缺的交流工具。作為一所國際幼兒園,我們一直倡導國際教育並採用快樂英語課程,我們的培養目標是:為了孩子20年後生活奠基。未來是中國引領全球化的時代,我們的下一代都會成為真正的國際公民。為了進一步強化我園純正的英語環境,提高遊戲式英語教學水平,也為了更好的提升我們的世界小公民的英語口語,在疫情期間,我園在園長的帶領下了正式開啟了形式多樣的線上幼兒教師英語培訓活動。
在因疫情剛開始扼制大家出行的腳步的時候,我園園領導就倡導「停課不停學」一系列教師培訓活動,作為幼兒園教師要樹立終身學習的意識,作為丁香幼兒園教師英語能力是必不可少的教學工具,儲備知識可以幫助我們和園所更好的前進。
瞧,我們的教學部主任已經開始召集我們認真做好學習筆記。通過每天的打卡學習,我們老師們對幼兒一日日常英語的的學習內容印象又加深了很多。

英語學習筆記只是英語培訓中的基礎部分,學習英語的最終目的是要會說,所以這個時候我們的外教老師Steven上線了。Steven是一位來自英國的外教老師,為人紳士,語音純正,教學經驗豐富,一直深受家長和孩子們的喜歡。Steven每天錄製一部分英語培訓內容發音分享給我們,督促鼓勵我們大膽的說和練習,在Steven的幫助下,老師們的英語口語又有了質的進步。

老師們自行跟讀Steven錄音學習英語發音並糾音後,Steven和我們又開啟了線上雲糾音,老師們輪流說英語,Steven耐心的幫助老師們進行糾音,我們的老師們也很珍惜這次學習的機會,都會把自己發音不準確的單詞標記出來,線下反覆練習直至說到自己滿意為止。在雲糾音環節後,為了繼續鞏固和提高大家在培訓前期的英語內容學習,我們又開展了雲抽查,由Steven或教學部主任Amy第一個進行提問抽查,被抽查的老師進行回答,回答後去抽查其他任意一位老師,依此方法進行,每個老師都會被抽查到,在這個環節過後,我們老師們已經有著一口純正的發音並能流利熟練的說出幼兒一日日常英語的學習內容。在Steven陪伴我們老師們學習英語的過程中,我們老師們學到了很多,對這次英語培訓也有很深的心得體會。
大班組老師:大班的幼兒經過幼兒園三年的學習,孩子們使用英語進行日常互動、日常交流、課堂互動都很積極,一口標準純正的發音很是讓人羨慕。英語是語言的工具,我們在培訓過程中和Steven交流如何激發孩子們主動使用英語的方法;如何創設英文環境等。通過這次培訓,我們每一位老師都收穫滿滿。培訓後的思考:我們可以嘗試開展話題交流,搜集孩子們近期感興趣的話題,然後各抒己見展開交流,用已有的本領去表述自己的觀點,等開學後我們可以和孩子們嘗試一下呢。
中班組老師:我們在學習英語日常用語的表達,大家都很喜歡這次的英語培訓,一起互動交流大家進步也很快,也發現了我們丁香幼兒園臥虎藏龍,還有一批英語很棒的中文教師呢。所以每個人都有值得大家學習的地方,我們要與孩子們多使用英語進行交流,孩子們就是在環境薰陶下英語能力才能夠提高,改變從自己做起。
小班組老師:非常感謝Steven對我們小班組的培訓,在非常時期我們通過微信一直保持著聯繫,從日常用語的學習到教案的分析,Steven總是很有耐心的幫助我們,及時糾音和解決問題。小班孩子剛入園,我們總是覺得孩子小,聽不懂英文怎麼辦? Seven老師用他來到中國聽不懂中文的例子來給我們做講解,語言不僅僅只有一種發聲語言,肢體語言也很重要,在孩子們聽不懂的情況下你用行動告訴他,反覆,重複,慢慢的孩子們就懂了!During the Coronavirus epidemic we knew it was important to make good use of our time. Even though our students could not come to the kindergarten at that time, and the teachers were working from home, we were still able to continue delivering lessons online and communicating with each other via WeChat. And one of the best uses of the time was to raise the general English speaking level among teachers in the Kindergarten.Starting from a list of useful and common phrases that teachers often say to the children during their day in the kindergarten, we engaged in English language training focused not just on remembering the words and phrases, but also on pronunciation and clear speaking.At first, I made audio recordings of each of the phrases so the Chinese teachers could have a reference of how a native speaker would say them. This helps for listening practice and recognising the way words really sound, instead of relying on reading the words from the page using Chinese-style English pronunciation. Of course, some learners can pick this up faster than others, but I think it was advantageous for everybody to have a pronunciation model to work from.Then, after a week or so, we began to do live teaching and practice sessions using WeChat Work. Every teacher would try to say the English phrases, and I was able to help them see where they were mispronouncing a word or not speaking clearly or with proper rhythm and intonation. The Chinese teachers were diligent and took the study seriously, and I think everybody made progress. Some teachers even asked me to only speak English with them in the future, which I am happy to do!Apart from improving the general English level in the Kindergarten, with useful words that we can eventually use with the students, I think the main advantage of this learning programme was that it gave us all a chance to communicate and to work together even when we could not actually go to the school. And most importantly, it was fun. We shared a lot of laughter, and had a good time. I am looking forward to helping my colleagues learn more in the future, and was very honoured to have the opportunity to teach them!
