Speak for yourself !

Definition: Used to tell someone that you do not have the same opinion as they do, or that something that is true for them is not true for you.

A: We had a really boring trip.

B: Speak for yourself! I had a wonderful time!

Yo, what's up folks? This is Mr.Wong speaking. So my boss offered my co-workers and I plane tickets to Japan as a reward for our hard work. Well, actually he gave us options, either we take the tickets or just get a 50-dollar gift cardeach. My co-workers were like, "Dude, take the tickets, it's a no-brainer(理所當然的事情), besides, we all like to travel!" And I'm like, "Speak for yourself, I think it's exhausting. It's not the first day you met our boss, he'll pay for the tickets but not the food and hotel. You know how expensive it is in Japan? Yo, just take the gift card." Yup, in the end we all took the gift card instead. Haha, and speaking of "speak for yourself", that's gonna be our phrase of the day, let's check it out!
