The Diameter of Jupiter is 139,822 Kilometres.

It would take roughly 11 Earths side by side to go from one side of Jupiter to the other.

However, a year on Jupiter is much longer.
One year on Jupiter is 11.86 Earth years
Or 4332 earth days.
Jupiter has no seasons
Jupiter has a Great red spot.
The spot is a huge storm. (巨大的風暴)
The storm has been going for over 300 years.
The storm is so big 3 Earths can fit inside.

Jupiter’s Greek equivalent (等效) is Zeus.
Jupiter is the King of Gods.
His father was Saturn.
Jupiter was the only child not eaten by his father.
His brothers were Neptune and Pluto.
Jupiter ruled (統治) the sky, Neptune the sea and Pluto the underworld.
Jupiter was the most powerful (強大).
Jupiter is depicted with a beard and long hair. His other attributes include sceptre, eagle, cornucopia, aegis, ram, and lion.

Jupiter brought light and controlled the weather.
He was also known by the name Jove.
Today we still use the word Jovial (快活), meaning happy and friendly.

Also, He was the symbol of the priests who declared wars or treaties on behalf of the state.

Jupiter was the deity of oaths and treaties. He was also connected to marriage.

Today, Jupiter lies sleeping, a God that was once so important to a people.

But still present in our thoughts, and also in the sky.
Jupiter the planet is visible in the night sky with the naked eye (肉眼).
To really enjoy Jupiter, using a good pair of binoculars (雙筒望遠鏡) will really give you a wonderful look at this Gargantuan planet.
