偶爾在網上發現了兩個英文版的《心經》,挺直白的。比漢語的白話文還要白話文。對學英語有興趣的,又喜歡佛法,不妨了解一下英文版的《心經》。這是釋迦牟尼佛教法的心髓

THE HEART OF PRAJNA PARAMITA SUTRA
(般若波羅蜜多經的核心)
When Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara waspracticing the profound Prajna Paramita, he illuminated the Five Skandhas andsaw that they are all empty, and he crossed beyond all suffering anddifficulty.
當觀世音(Avalokiteshvara)菩薩(Bodhisattva:)在修習般若波羅蜜多(Prajna Paramita)的時候,他洞悉到所謂五蘊(Skandhas)皆是空幻,於是超越了所有的痛苦與困難。
Shariputra, form does not differ fromemptiness; emptiness does not differ from form. Form itself is emptiness;emptiness itself is form. So too are feeling, cognition, formation, andconsciousness.
出定以後,他對舍利弗說(Shariputra):舍利弗,實體(色)與空無沒有什麼區別,空無與實體也沒什麼區別;實體本身就是空無,空無本身也就是實體。對於受想行識這四蘊,也是一樣。
Shariputra, all Dharmas are empty of characteristics.They are not produced, not destroyed, not defiled, not pure; and they neitherincrease nor diminish. Therefore, in emptiness there is no form, feeling,cognition, formation, or consciousness; no eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, ormind; no sights, sounds, smells, tastes, objects of touch, or Dharmas; no fieldof the eyes up to and including no field of mind consciousness; and noignorance or ending of ignorance, up to and including no old age and death orending of old age and death. There is no suffering, no accumulating, noextinction, and no Way, and no understanding and no attaining.
舍利弗,所有的法(Dharmas),本性皆空,不生不滅、不淨不垢、不增不減。所以在空幻之中,無所謂色受想行識五蘊、也無所謂眼耳鼻舌身意,也無所謂聲香味觸法、也無眼界至意識界等十八界。沒有無明(ignorance),也無所謂終止無明,沒有衰老、死亡,也無所謂終止衰老、死亡。沒有苦集滅道,沒有理解,也沒有獲得。
Because nothing is attained, theBodhisattva through reliance on Prajna Paramita is unimpeded in his mind.Because there is no impediment, he is not afraid, and he leaves distorteddream-thinking far behind. Ultimately Nirvana! All Buddhas of the three periodsof time attain Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi through reliance on Prajna Paramita.Therefore know that Prajna Paramita is a Great Spiritual Mantra, a Great BrightMantra, a Supreme Mantra, an Unequalled Mantra. It can remove all suffering; itis genuine and not false. That is why the Mantra of Prajna Paramita was spoken.Recite it like this: Gaté Gaté Paragaté Parasamgaté Bodhi Svaha!
因為無所得,所以菩薩的心中沒有任何障礙,因為無所掛礙,他就會無所畏懼,他就遠離了那些扭曲顛倒的夢想,達到了終極的涅槃。所以,般若波羅蜜多是一種偉大的精神咒語(Mantra)、是一種偉大的光明咒語,是最最高級的咒語,是無與倫比的咒語。它能去除一切的痛苦,它真實不虛,這就是為什麼佛會講授般若波羅蜜多的緣起。這咒語中這麼說道:Gaté Gaté Paragaté Parasamgaté Bodhi Svaha!

The Heart Sutra in English

When the holy Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara had truly grasped the transcendent wisdom,he realized that visible form is only illusion. The same applies to itsperception, to its names and categories, to discriminative intellect andfinally even to our consciousness. They are all illusion. With this realizatonhe was beyond all sorrow and bitterness.
Disciple Sariputra! The material is not different from the immaterial. Theimmaterial and the material are in fact one and the same thing. The sameapplies to perception, concepts, discriminative thinking and consciousness.They are neither existing nor not existing.
Sariputra! All things therefore they are inthemselves not good and not bad, they are not increasing and notdecreasing.
Therefore one may say there are no suchthings as form, perception, concepts, thinking process, and consciousness. Oursenses such as eye, ear, nose, tongue, body and mind are misleading us toillusion; thus one may also say there is no reality in visible form, sound,smell, taste, touch and mindknowledge. There are also no such things as therealms of sense from sight up to mind, and no such things as the links ofexistence from ignorance and its end to old age and death and their end. Alsothe Four Noble Truths* are nonexistent, just as there is no such thing aswisdom and also no gain.
Because the holy Bodhisattva who relies ontranscendent wisdom knows that there is no gain, he has no worries and also nofear. Beyond all illusion he has reached the space of highest Nirvana.
All Buddhas of the past, present andfuture, found highest perfect knowedge because they relied on transcendentalwisdom.
Therefore we ought to know that the greatverse of the transcendent wisdom is unsurpassed in its splendor, and that itappeases truly all pain**. It reads:
GATE, GATE, PARAGATE, PARASAMGATEBODHISVAHA!
