During National Hispanic Heritage Month, the U.S. government celebrates the countless contributions of more than 60 million Hispanic Americans to our culture and society. We continue our celebration by screening the movie Coco, a film that follows a 12-year-old boy named Miguel who sets off a chain of events relating to a century-old mystery, leading to an extraordinary family reunion. Hispanic Americans have long contributed to America’s cultural, economic, and political landscape.  This animated film was co-directed by Adrian Molina, an American animator of Mexican descent. Hispanic Americans are the largest minority group in the United States today, and generations of Hispanic Americans have consistently helped make our country strong and prosperous. They contribute to our Nation beyond description. Hispanic Americans embody the best of our American values, including commitment to faith, family, and country. Join us in our celebration!

This movie is in English with Chinese subtitles.
