Espresso 意式濃縮咖啡
Espresso is coffee of Italian origin, brewed by forcing a small amount of nearly boiling water under pressure (expressing) through finely ground coffee beans. Espresso is generally thicker than coffee brewed by other methods.
意式濃縮咖啡起源於義大利,是用少量的沸水在壓力下通過磨細的咖啡豆衝泡而成。意式濃縮咖啡通常比其他方法煮出來的咖啡更濃。
意式濃縮(Espresso)是一種非常苦(bitter)的咖啡,雖然很受一些人的歡迎,但是也有很多人沒有辦法直接飲用意式濃縮。所以就出現了給意式濃縮中加新鮮橙汁(fresh orange juice)的喝法。可以中和(neutralize)意式濃縮的苦味。
但更加大眾的方法是在espresso中加入牛奶,慢慢地出現了以espresso為基礎的眾多咖啡飲品。
Cappuccino 卡布奇諾
A cappuccino is an espresso-based coffee drink that originated in Italy, and is traditionally prepared with steamed milk foam.
卡布奇諾是一種以意式濃縮咖啡為基礎的咖啡飲料,起源於義大利,傳統上是用蒸氣打牛奶泡沫製作的。
卡布奇諾(cappuccino)的特點在於其頂部豐盈的奶泡(foam)。一般來說一杯卡布奇諾的結構為1/3的奶泡(foam),1/3的熱牛奶(steamed milk)和底部1/3的意式濃縮咖啡(espresso)。在製作時需要加入少許的巧克力粉(chocolate powder)。
Latte 拿鐵
A latte is a coffee drink made with espresso and steamed milk.The term as used in English is a shortened form of the Italian caffèe latte, which means "milk coffee". The word is also sometimes spelled latté or lattè in English with different kinds of accent mark.
拿鐵是由濃咖啡和蒸牛奶製成的咖啡飲料。這個詞在英語中是義大利拿鐵咖啡的縮寫,意思是「牛奶咖啡」。有時也被拼寫成latté或lattè ,在英語中有不同的口音標記。
拿鐵(latte)作為咖啡中最為常見的的種類也是由意式濃縮(espresso)為基礎的。與卡布奇諾(cappuccino)不同的是拿鐵咖啡的結構中奶泡(foam)的部分很少。頂部的奶泡只有很薄一層,同時,在製作過程中不加入巧克力粉(chocolate powder),但有可能使用巧克力醬(chocolate sauce)或巧克力粉製作咖啡拉花藝術(latte art)。
拿鐵咖啡在現在的發展中也出現了很多變化,其中就包括風味拿鐵(flavoured latte)。通過加入不同風味的糖漿(syrup)和粉(powder)。在美國最為受歡迎的是每年下半年才會上市的南瓜拿鐵(pumpkin spice latte)。
Latte macchiato 瑪奇朵
Latte macchiato is a coffee beverage; the name means stained or marked milk. Marked as in an espresso stain on the milk used.
拿鐵瑪奇朵是一種咖啡飲料,這個名字的意思是染色的或有記號的牛奶。用在牛奶上的濃咖啡染色。
瑪奇朵(Latte macchiato)雖然也是由意式濃縮(espresso)為基礎並加入熱牛奶(steamed milk)所製作的咖啡飲品。但是它與拿鐵(latte)咖啡還是存在著區別的。首先容器上是存在區別的。拿鐵咖啡是使用一般的茶杯(tea cup)為容器。而瑪奇朵則是使用瑪奇朵杯(macchiato glass)作為容器。
其次瑪奇朵和拿鐵的製作順序不同。拿鐵是將熱牛奶衝入意式濃縮咖啡中。而瑪奇朵是將熱牛奶先倒入瑪奇朵杯中,然後將意式濃縮倒入牛奶中。這時瑪奇朵就會出現明顯的分層(layer)。
瑪奇朵同樣可以通過加入風味糖漿(syrup)來改變其風味。最為常見的是焦糖瑪奇朵(Caramel Macchiato)。通過在瑪奇朵中加入焦糖風味糖漿(caramel syrup)來使得其出現完全不同的風味。
Caffè mocha 咖啡摩卡
A caffè moch is a chocolate-flavored variant of a caffè latte. The name is derived from the city of Mocha, Yemen, which was one of the centers of early coffee trade. Like a caffè latte, caffè mocha is based on espresso and hot milk but with added chocolate flavoring and sweetener, typically in the form of cocoa powder and sugar. Many varieties use chocolate syrup instead, and some may contain dark or milk chocolate.

Hot chocolate 熱可可
Hot chocolate, also known as drinking chocolate, cocoa, and as chocolate tea in Nigeria, is a heated drink consisting of shaved chocolate, melted chocolate or cocoa powder, heated milk or water, and usually a sweetener. Hot chocolate may be topped with whipped cream or marshmallows. Hot chocolate made with melted chocolate is sometimes called drinking chocolate, characterized by less sweetness and a thicker consistency.

Caffè Americano 美式咖啡
Caffè Americano also known as Americano is a type of coffee drink prepared by diluting an espresso with hot water, giving it a similar strength to, but different flavor from, traditionally brewed coffee. The strength of an Americano varies with the number of shots of espresso and the amount of water added. The name is also spelled with varying capitalization and use of diacritics: e.g., café americano.
美式咖啡(Caffe Americano)也被稱為Americano,是一種用熱水稀釋濃咖啡製成的咖啡飲料,它的強度與傳統煮咖啡相似,但味道不同。美式咖啡的烈度隨咖啡杯的數量和加水的量而變化。這個名字也有不同的大寫字母和變音符的用法:例如,cafe americano。

filter coffee 過濾式咖啡
Brewed coffee is made by pouring hot water onto ground coffee beans, then allowing to brew. There are several methods for doing this, including using a filter, a percolator, and a French press. Terms used for the resulting coffee often reflect the method used, such as drip brewed coffee, filtered coffee, pour-over coffee, immersion brewed coffee, or simply coffee. Water seeps through the ground coffee, absorbing its constituent chemical compounds, and then passes through a filter. The used coffee grounds are retained in the filter, while the brewed coffee is collected in a vessel such as a carafe or pot.

Pumpkin spices latte 南瓜拿鐵咖啡
The Pumpkin Spice Latte is a coffee drink made with a mix of traditional fall spice flavors, steamed milk, espresso, and often sugar, topped with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spice. Since 2015, it has also contained a small amount of pumpkin puree.
南瓜香料拿鐵是一種混合了傳統秋季香料、蒸牛奶、濃咖啡和糖的咖啡飲料,上面加了生奶油和南瓜派香料。自2015年以來,它還含有少量的南瓜泥。
