人工頸椎間盤置換術（Prestige®）

Overview（概述）

This procedure replaces a diseased or damaged spinal disc with a specialized implant designed to preserve motion in the neck. This procedure can relieve the pain of pinched nerves in the cervical spine.

　　本手術用特殊的植入物來替換病變或受損的椎間盤，設計用來保留脖子的活動。這種手術能緩解因頸椎神經受壓而引起的疼痛。

Removing the Disc（去除椎間盤）

The surgeon creates a small incision in the front of the neck to gain access to the spine. The diseased disc is removed from between the vertebral bodies.

　　術者在頸前部作一小切口以顯露脊柱。首先將椎體間的病變椎間盤去除。

Preparing the Vertebrae（準備椎體）

The surfaces of the vertebral bodies are cleared of all damaged disc tissue and shaped to accept the implant.

　　將椎體表面所有受損的椎間盤組織去除，並塑形以容納內植物。

Implanting the Disc（植入椎間盤）

The Prestige® artificial disc is inserted into the space between the vertebrae and carefully secured into place with specialized screws. The implant is designed to preserve spinal motion and keep the cervical spine properly aligned.

　　將Prestige®人工椎間盤插入椎間隙，並用專門的螺釘小心固定牢。設計這種植入物是為了保留脊柱的活動並保持正常的頸椎力線。

Spinal Fusion（脊柱融合）

The spinal fusion procedure uses a metal plate to connect the vertebrae above and below the removed disc, locking the vertebrae together and preventing movement.

　　脊柱融合術是用鋼板將去除椎間盤的上下脊椎骨連接起來，將它們鎖定在一起防止它們活動。

Prestige® Artificial Disc（Prestige® 人工椎間盤）

The Prestige®  artificial disc is designed to allow the treated vertebrae to glide and twist against each other, preserving motion in the neck.

　　Prestige® 人工椎間盤被設計使經過治療的脊椎骨能相互之間滑動扭轉，保留脖子的活動。
