提到「試吃」我大概能想到有些同學肯定直接翻譯成👉free eat，很明顯是有語法錯誤的，形容詞要修飾名詞，要是改為「eat for free」，還勉強可以，但它強調的是完全免費吃而非試吃，也是有些不恰當的。
動畫片《咱們裸熊》裡面的一段對話：
Samples! Fresh peaches. Take a sample.
試吃新鮮的桃子，試吃一下吧。
Good morning. Could I have one of those?
早上好，我能嘗一個嗎？
Of course. Here you are.
當然可以。給你。
所以，不用這麼麻煩~直接用sample就可以表達：
舉個例子
You get to sample lots of baked things and take home masses of cookies besides.
你可以試吃許多烘烤食品，此外還能帶許多餅乾回家。
而且「sample」除了可以表達「試吃」，我們平時用的化妝品「小樣」也可以用它來表達~
如果在買化妝品不確定自己的皮膚是否適合時，可以問櫃姐是否提供小樣：
A: 我聽身邊朋友都有推薦過這個面霜，但因為我的皮膚比較敏感，所以想先試一下。不知道你們方便給我一個小樣嗎？
A: My friends have recommended me this cream, but my skin is quite sensitive. Can I have some samples to try on my skin?
那我們在超市除了會接觸到試吃，還會遇到被捆綁銷售的「贈品」，你知道「贈品」怎樣表達嗎？
其實，「贈品」有很多表達方式，比如「free of charge」、「on the house」或者「free gift」，但是這些都比較簡單，今天介紹一個更高階的表達：
with compliments 贈品
「with compliments"，英文意思為「as a gift from」；中文釋義：(尤指贈送禮物或給予幫助時)…敬贈，請接受…的敬意。
舉個例子
The flowers are with compliments of the audience.這些花是觀眾敬贈的。
buy one get one free 買一送一
裡面的 one 可以替代成別的數字，比方說「buy five get two free」，表示「買五送二」。
此外，buy one get one free是最常出現在廣告上的表語，常出現在廣告板上的字眼，而非一般會使用的日常英語！
舉個例子
Once I see the 「buy one get one free」 labels on the shelves, I just can’t help and spend my money on them.每當我在貨架上看到「買一送一」的標籤，我就會忍不住要出手買。
on sale 特價
用來形容某物品的特價，所以會放在「商品」後面，而非「店鋪」後面！
These books are on sale. 這些書在特價。
The mall is on sale. 這家商場在特價
想要說這家店有特價商品，你可以直接用sale這個單詞：
