我們中國有一種關於親情的表達是「血濃於水」，它的英文表達大家應該也都聽說過，就是「Blood is thicker than water」。

1. cold blood
看字面意思就是冷血的、無情的，但是……
沒有但是，實際意思和字面意思相近，就是「冷血；故意」 還有「蓄意和預謀殺人」的意思。
例句：

這裡的關鍵是，究竟這個人有沒有殘忍地殺害了另外一個人。
2. bad blood
這個就千萬不要按照字面意思理解為「壞掉的血」了。
它的實際意思是「惡感」、「敵意」、「仇恨」。
例句：
There's too much bad blood between them.
他們之間有很深的敵意。
3. blue blood
這可不是「藍色的血液」，正確的意思是「貴族血統」
例句：
She is a lady of blue blood.
她是出身名門的淑女。
4. get sb.'s blood up
這可不是說「令某人熱血沸騰了」，而是「使震怒、生氣」的意思。
例句：
His behavior really got his father's blood up.
他的行為真的讓他父親很是震怒。
