還記得習語 between a rock and a hard place 的寓意嗎？今天又帶來一個跟這個類似的習語 fall between two stools，字面意思是「掉在兩個凳子中間」，那就是任何一個凳子都沒坐到，可以意為「兩頭落空，兩邊不討好」等，寓意：
