關於哪裡可以買到好一點的狗或者怎麼樣挑到好的狗，以及最新狗狗品種，他都了如指掌，這不禁讓我想到了一個表達：have one's finger on the pulse。
從字面看，have one's Finger on the pulse是「手指放脈搏上」？難道要「把脈」？
1. have one's finger on the pulse
並不是把脈哦。
If you have your finger on the pulse, it means you know all the latest information about something or understand it very well.
這個英語表達的意思是你知道關於某事的所有最新信息，或者非常了解它。
比如說大汪：
①Da Wang has his finger on the pulse of dogs. If you have any questions about dogs, go ask him.
大汪對狗狗了如指掌。如果你有關於狗的任何問題，去問他。
除了大汪，咔咔我身邊還有那麼兩三個朋友特別愛玩，所以你想要去體會一下城市夜生活，不妨問他們吧。

2. have a finger in the pie
除了可以把finger放在脈搏上，我們英語中還有一個表達叫have a finger in the pie。
直接看，Have a finger in the pie是「把手指戳進一個派」嗎？啥意思？
實際上表示摻和進去，摻和一腳。
比如說我的老闆特別不敢放權，老不放心我，所以他總會這麼做：
①My boss always wants to have a finger in the pie. He doesn't think we can do it by ourselves. Then, why did he hire us?
