繪本簡介

這是一首流傳好幾百年的傳統歌謠，有許多關於它出處的故事，在某些版本裡，桑樹據說可以保護人們安全，手把手圍圈圈，往右邊跳舞可以驅魔避邪，也有別的版本說是一個洗衣婦發明的遊戲，為了讓她的孩子在她工作時可以待在附近玩耍不亂跑，所以她編出這段韻文讓孩子圍繞她院子裡的桑樹玩，在凱爾特的傳統裡，舉行鄉間婚禮時會圍繞桑樹跳舞。

這個繪本內容豐富，畫面生動活潑，題材貼近生活，涉及很多常用的英文日常用語，特別適合開始上幼兒園或者上學的小朋友來聽看學。由於畫面豐富，所以這個繪本的插畫看上去的第一感覺有點亂眼，但是仔細觀察後，會覺得人物形象特別生動活潑，家長可以引導孩子觀察插畫的細節內容，進行相應的英語對話和拓展活動。

如何引導孩子學好一本繪本

親子閱讀+精聽+泛聽

如何進行親子閱讀？

指圖+肢體表達

親子閱讀時，家長們在講這本繪本時，可以用指圖和肢體演繹的方式進行,以下方式可以供家長們參考:

第一段是在桑樹叢周圍轉，可以指著圖上的桑樹跟寶貝說：這就是Mulberry bush。再指著圖上的孩子們說：他們在Mulberry bush 旁邊追著圈跑，也就是go round。

讀到out of bed 時，可以直接指圖表達。同樣地，像munch and crunch，brush our teeth，wash and scrub，dress ourselves，brush and comb，get to school，work all day，jump and play，eat our lunch等都可以直接指著繪本圖片，用中文解釋場景，讀出英文原文，必要的時候加上肢體動作表達。

最後部分，充實的一天結束了，是時候要說goodnight了。指著繪本圖片告訴寶貝，他們需要休息了，Let`s go to sleep。

繪本中一共14段場景，相同的句式結構。每一幅圖都是對應場景的內容。家長朋友們可以採用指圖配合場景解釋的方式進行親子閱讀。

如何精聽/泛聽？

繪本進行完親子閱讀並不代表這本書就掌握了。

親子閱讀的目的是達到可理解性聽，所以我們還需要反覆聆聽音頻，讓孩子內化繪本內容。聽音頻分泛聽和精聽——

泛聽就是把音頻當作背景音，以量的積累為主。建議家長將該繪本的音頻拷到播放器上，在孩子玩玩具、洗澡、上放學路上可以進行泛聽，熟悉韻律節奏。而通常在先熟悉繪本的韻律節奏後再進行親子閱讀，孩子對於繪本的接受度會更高一些。

精聽，是比較專注地聽。建議在每次親子閱讀之後進行，有助於加深記憶，讓孩子一邊聽音頻一邊看著書，家長在旁邊陪伴，當孩子沒有翻到對應頁面時，家長要及時協助。
