今天是中秋節（Mid-Autumn Festival），全國上下一片喜氣洋洋。

相傳，后羿射日後，娶了個美麗善良的妻子，名叫嫦娥。
後來，后羿在崑崙山時，巧遇了王母娘娘，向王母求得一包不死藥，服下即可升仙。
但后羿捨不得妻子，就把藥交給嫦娥收藏，卻不料被壞蛋蓬蒙得知。
後來，趁后羿外出之際，蓬蒙闖入嫦娥家中。危急之下，嫦娥拿出不死藥吃了下去，隨即升空而去，飛落到離人間最近的月亮上成了仙。
悲痛欲絕的后羿，此後便只能遙望星空，思念嫦娥。
有一天，他看到天上的月亮格外皎潔，有個晃動的身影酷似嫦娥。
於是，后羿便在後花園裡擺上香案，遙祭嫦娥。
民眾得知嫦娥升仙后，也紛紛效仿后羿的做法，向嫦娥祈求。從此，中秋賞月的風俗便傳開了，並沿襲至今。
