先來看第一個點：
我發現 flights easily get delayed these days, which is equally annoying and depressing.
我感覺每次我去香港玩，飛機都會延誤。
On average, it takes me about 5 hours to get to Hong Kong. I spend around 3 hours to get to the airport and check in, and 2 hours on the plane.
所以 If everything goes smoothly, it takes me 5 hours to get to Hong Kong by plane，但是一旦延誤啥的，那就沒底了，可能8小時。
if everything goes smoothly...... 如果一切順利的話......
如果一切順利的話，我2點會到你辦公室。
If everything goes smoothly, I will arriive at your office at 2pm.
再來看第二個點：
I took my wife and my son on a weeklong trip to Japan last year. 結果寶寶生病了，所以 we stayed in our hotel room the whole time just taking care of him.
回來後朋友問我你玩得如何呀？我無奈地說：「If all had gone to plan, we would've been able to see and do much more in Japan.」 誰能想到寶寶病了......
