正如我們每天都在經受新生詞彙洗禮，英語世界中的新興詞彙同樣層出不窮。柯林斯詞典每一年都會選出一個符合本年度流行趨勢的熱門詞彙——在2015年，這個詞是binge-watch。
Binge一詞的意思是狂歡作樂、無節制的狂熱行為。由此延伸出的binge-watch，顧名思義，意味著瘋狂的刷劇行為。柯林斯詞典對它給出的釋義是：
用我們習慣的方式說，也也已稱為「煲劇」或者「刷劇」。在英語裡，binge-watch還能被binge-viewing或marathon-viewing等同義詞代替。而由此延伸，那些沉溺於劇集中的追劇狂人們則被稱為了binge-watcher。
這一詞彙在上世紀90年代就已經開始使用，故而算不上是一個真正的新詞。只是隨著近年大量長篇劇集的發行，一口氣看完好幾季電視劇的行為成為眾之所趨，理所當然地成為了本年熱詞。詞典編撰人員發現，只在去年一年，binge-watch的使用頻率就增加了200%。
由於Netflix和天空電視臺的Now TV等提供的訂閱服務以及Tivo等「智能」數字視頻錄像設備的存在，粉絲們可以隨時觀看自己想看的節目，而且想看多久就能看多久。

▌manspreading 大爺式佔座
The act or an instance of a male passenger in a bus or train splaying his legs in a way that denies space to the passenger sitting next to him.
這個詞指的是公交車或地鐵裡的男乘客雙腿大張，霸佔座位，使得別的乘客無法坐他的鄰座的行為或現象。
▌Clean eating 清潔飲食
A diet of "clean eating" refers to one which avoids processed foods and is heavy in raw and unrefined produce.
「清潔飲食」這種飲食方式指的是不吃加工食品，大量攝入生的、未經加工的天然農產品。
▌Ghosting 玩失蹤的分手方式
Ending a relationship by ignoring all communication from the other person.
以徹底忽視對方一切消息的方式結束一段戀情。
▌Shaming 羞辱
Attempting to embarrass a person or group by drawing attention to their perceived offence, especially on social media.
通過讓人們圍觀某人或某個群體不光彩的事情，以讓對方感到羞恥，通常發生在社交媒體上。

The economic policies advocated by the UK Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.
