新東方：辦公室的"工位"用英語怎麼說?

　　大多數上班族每天都是在工位上辦公，但我發現會說辦公室「工位」的人並不多，現在一起來學習吧。

　　「工位」對應的英語是

　　office cubicle

　　或簡單說成cubicle。Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English對它的解釋是a small part of a room that is separated from the rest of the room(房間裡的「小間」)，並給出了兩個短語：a shower cubicle(淋浴間)，office workers in their cubicles(工位中的上班族)。有些公司沒有隔板隔開的工位，這時可用office desk(辦公桌)或desk代替。

　　以下例句供大家參考：

　　【例】The office cubicle is a source of frustration for many workers, who spend long hours at cramped desks dreaming of the executive's corner office.

　　【例】Innovations in the world of office furniture design have tended to serve one of two purposes. Then others are designed to help improve workers』 health — like ergonomically designed office seating, balance ball chairs and the current obsession withstanding desks.
