亞薩詩歌欣賞—【隱基底花園】之《蛻變》
當一隻雛鷹勇敢的脫離溫暖的巢穴，開始嘗試展翅飛翔的那一刻，當鷹媽媽必須要做出一個抉擇把孩子拋向深谷的那一刻，當鷹成長為願意以「死」為代價換取第二次生命的那一刻，這將預示著一個全新的生命將要承接一次偉大的使命。
鷹擁有著無所畏懼、堅韌不拔而又永不放棄的品格，鷹的第二次生命向我們揭示了基督徒當走的道路，就是死的道路。這個死是真正的脫胎換骨的一次蛻變，也是重生的起點。喙可棄，爪可拋，羽可拔，血可流，這就是鷹的品格。因為它知道，只有以這樣死亡般的痛苦才能重獲新的生命和自由。
所以我們必須忍痛拋去那些墨守的傳統和令我們不堪回首的過去，只有放下過去沉重的包袱，才能享受蛻變帶來的新生。 耶穌說，「一粒麥子不落在地裡死了，仍舊是一粒，若是死了，就結出許多子粒來。」（ 約12:24 ）
When a brave Eagle leave the warm nest, at the moment when it first has to taste the act of flying, at the moment when the mother eagle must make a decision to throw the young eagle off the cliff, at the moment when the eagle grows to the stage of willing to pay the price of "death"in exchange for a second chance to live, which will herald a new life from undertaking a great mission.
Eagle has a fearless, persistent and never give up character, this kind of life should be the kind that a Christian should aspire to—it a life of death. This death is truly a chance of rebirth, a transformation, and it is also the starting point for gaining a new life. The beak could be disposed, the claws could be thrown away, feathers could be plucked off, blood could be shed, and this is the very character of the eagle. Because it knows only through such kind of painful experience would one be eligible to gain a new life and freedom.
Therefore, we must bear the pain to get rid of our legalistic ways in keeping the tradition, and our unbearable past, only through letting go our heavy burden can we then enjoy the transformed new life. Jesus He said, 「I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But it dies, it produces many seeds.」 (John 12:24)
