先看patch這個詞，可以作名詞，也可以做動詞。一般有三種含義：第一，「補丁，斑點」。對照這個句子，顯然不是。第二，「修補，修復」，貌似也不對。第三，「恢復程序」，看起來也沒法代人這個句子。那如何翻譯呢？
我查閱過英英詞典，在patch這個詞的注釋裡，有看到這樣一條：connect by a temporary electrical，radio or telephonic connection.
簡單翻譯一下，就是「通過電源、收音機或者電話裝置臨時連接」。
