普通生病「去醫院」別說"go to the hospital"
在他們的認知裡，感冒發燒這種小病，一般就找家庭醫生，或是去診所(clinic)。
在冠詞的用法方面, 英國人常說：go to hospital(去醫院)，go to university(上大學)，而美國人則常說：go to the hospital，go to the university
什麼情況說hospital？hospital在英文裡指的是綜合大醫院，並且有住院的意思，所以當一個人說要go to the hospital的時候，外國人會認為他病的很嚴重。並且到了要住院的程度，甚至他們會擔心這個人有生命危險，非常容易產生誤會。

看牙醫英語怎麼說？
並不是所有的醫生都可以用doctor表示，牙醫就是個例外，牙醫的英文表示是dentist
看牙醫你可以說：see a dentist

at強調醫院這個地點，因為它是指空間上某個點，at the hospital一般表示在醫院工作，去醫院探病也用at
