Chineese Railways cannot be compared with Indian Railways. Not only Chinneese railways but also in all aspects of developments too china is more prosperous than India. This is just like comparing Elephant with Mosquito hehehe . China has got single rule. No opposition & the Govt can easily takes steps for developments. Here what all Govt comes who ever in opposition they will fight against the Ruling party. Hence it affects the developments too. Our India’s whole system should be changed. I have been Beijing & Shanghai last year. I too traveled myself in the bullet train G 13 Starts from Beijing south at 10 AM . Around 4 hours 50 minutes i reached shanghai station. Myself too felt like travelling in Aeroplane. For India it will take 100 more years to get Bullet train all over India. Sorry to say this.

Great story, very valuable. She covered the most crucial aspect of train which bothers me a lot that’s stability. In Indian railways it’s really difficult to stand still while the train moves and she displayed the difference between India’s fastest Shatabdi (Bhopal Shatabdi) and China’s bullet train when it comes to this aspect by showing the batteries and their position. I have just came back from China and took the bullet train from Shanghai to Beijing, it was awesome and the price is very affordable to everyone (the train was about 90% occupied), and I wish we would have bullet train in Malaysia as soon as possible.

Why are they comparing apples and oranges ? A bullet train doesn’t travel on regular tracks, so are we doing stability tests and comparing with China’s bullet train. How about comparing China’s regular train with Shatabdi express.
