學句口語：Let's split the difference（各自再讓一步），會用嗎？
在一個缺乏使用英語語言環境的國度裡學英語，你會發現：學好英語和把學好的英語保持下去(英語能力的可持續發展)是兩個不同卻容易被學生混淆的概念。
學好並保持學好的英語，其能力的體現不在於你能否「用上」那些你學過的各種英語表達(很多人學的再多根本就沒機會去表達表達)。
學好並保持學好的英語的能力體現，就在於你見到或想到某個英語表達後，你能不能在這個英語表達的「同義表達」或「同義詞」之間「竄來竄去」：自如地切換。能做到這點，有沒有人跟你說英語都無所謂了：因為你自己就在跟自己「說英語」！
只要你在「說英語」，學的英語會忘嗎？
你做得到在英語的同義表達之間自如切換，竄來竄去嗎？
1）比如，英語有句Idiom：Let's split the difference.
1. 比如：
- You want to sell it for $120, and I want to buy it for $100. Let's split the difference and close the deal at $110.
- I don't want to split the difference. I want $120.
一個sell for$120，一個buy for only $100.
這$20就叫difference：difference in price 差價
又比如：
- You're asking $5,000 for the car and I'm offering $4,000; let's split the difference and make it $4,500.
一個ask for$5000，一個offer only $4000，之間的$1000就叫difference：difference in price 差價
2. When you split something,you divide something,you break something in half.
這些split的同義詞你都應該會說，會用，而不能只會「用」一句中文：拆分，一分為二。
3. So,when we split the difference(in price),we break $20 in half,that's $10.
So,when we split the difference(in price),we divide $1000 in half,that's $500.

中文就叫：加個各自再讓一步得了。
不過，我不喜歡你只會用中文理解什麼是Let's split the difference(in price).

2）說到英語idiom：Let's split the difference(in price)，我還能說出它的其它同義詞來：to meet someone halfway,you make a compromise，都是「妥協」的意思。
